Dr Alexandra O’Neill completed her medical training at Flinders University in South Australia in 2011, graduating in degrees of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.
Following her clinical years and internship in the Northern Territory, she moved to Western Australia to commence her specialist training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery within major Perth tertiary hospitals. Alexandra became a Specialist Plastic Surgeon in 2022 when she was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS).
Alexandra undertook post-fellowship training at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse in Sydney, completing the Facial Surgical Oncology and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship. This was followed by further experience at the Melanoma Institute Australia (MIA) in Sydney.
Alexandra commenced private practice with the Western Australian Plastic Surgery Centre in 2024. She holds a position as a Consultant Specialist Plastic Surgeon at Royal Perth Hospital.
