Interview: Dr Brigid Corrigan – Breakfast ABC Perth

Our Specialist Plastic Surgeon Dr Brigid Corrigan talks to ABC Perth’s Stan Shaw about some of the proposed changes to the cosmetic surgery sector, due to be introduced from 1 July 2023.

Dr Corrigan also provides thoughts towards the new “endorsement” model planned to be introduced by Ahpra – Australia’s registered health practitioner regulator – creating a potentially dangerous system where the benchmark in skills and capabilities required by doctors to perform cosmetic surgery will be lower than that required for other forms of surgery.
